2019 Alberta Children's Hospital Fundraiser

Time to get started on your pledges and help support the great work the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation (ACHF) does for kids facing medical challenges…and enjoy a fun day at the BTSA ranges.

BTSA is proud to have been able to support this great organization over the years – this will be our 26th annual charity shoot event for the ACHF – and we’ve raised more than $60,000 so far for the organization.

This year’s event will be held Saturday, June 15 on the BTSA Action Ranges at the Homestead Shooting Centre, and we’re really focused on generating a really large contribution for the ACHF this year. It's a fun day, featuring a free lunch, several courses of fire, and prizes.

Date: Saturday, June 15, 2019 **In the event of a rain-out on the 15th, the rain day back-up is the next day, Sunday, June 16. Check the BTSA.ca website the day before, and morning of, the event for updates. **

Registration/Donations:

The registration and donation process for this event is different this year. The details of the new process are outlined below·
  • Pre-registration is required so we know how much food to order and to manage the donation process.
  • The registration fee for this event is $100. That registration fee becomes your minimum pledge commitment. You are responsible for raising at least that amount in order to participate in the event – donating that amount by yourself and/or getting donations from friends and family to exceed that amount
  • All adults in your family (18 years of age or older) must be registered and will be responsible for raising at least $100 for the ACHF
  • Your children (aged 17 and under) are invited to participate. There is no fundraising requirement, but information about family members participating or observing at the event is required to help us with lunch planning.
  • Once you’ve registered, you’ll be provided with information and a link you can share with your friends and family to encourage a donation to support the ACHF through your participation in the event. Any donations they make, that point to you, will be put towards your fundraising total to put you in the running for the fundraising prizes.
  • Information from all who donate will be collected and those who make a minimum $20 donation will receive a charitable donation tax receipt.
  • No cash donations – all donations must be made using the online donation page and process.
  • Again, your personal donations, or donations linked to your name made by your friends or family, must exceed $100 in order to participate in the shoot.
  • Registration for this event will close several days ahead of the event to allow collation of data.·
