New Applicant Checklist

Please review and have the following ready:

Have read and understand the membership requirements
Have read and understand the range rules
Have a current BTSA member of 1 year agree to sponsor your application
Have a clear, head and shoulders photograph to upload with your application
Have other relevant information at hand to support your application (PAL number, PAL Expiry date, Date of Birth, etc.)
Once approved as a member, you MUST pass your range orientation to attend the range on your own.

Be aware that failure to provide information or otherwise comply with this checklist will result in approval delays, or rejection of your application.

If you do not know anyone that is a current BTSA member, we ask that you come out to a public event at our ranges and meet some of our members.

Once all information is received and your sponsor has vouched for you, only then can your application be approved. This may take several weeks to complete.

Note: New members are required to pay a one time $100 range improvement fee. This will automatically be added to the final checkout.

Family - $325.00 (CAD) Bundle (up to 7 members) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments An annual FAMILY Membership applies to Husband and Wife (or equivalent) and any dependent children (under 18, or under 25 and a full time student) living at home.

Family Associate - $260.00 (CAD) Bundle (up to 7 members) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments The Family Associate membership is for BTSA family members that are also members of other APRA associations, AND that pay their APRA dues through those other associations. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT A MEMBER OF OTHER APRA CLUBS AND PAY YOUR APRA DUES THROUGH THEM.

Individual - $275.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Select this membership to apply for an annual membership for a single individual.

Individual Associate - $225.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments The Individual Associate membership is for individual BTSA members that are also members of other APRA associations, AND that pay their APRA dues through those other associations. Student - $150.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For individuals who are actively pursuing further education. Must provide evidence of full time enrollment in a post secondary institution. In return for the lower membership fee, Student members are expected to volunteer 2 time per year for the Association.
